Adventurous Spirit Photography is a collection of images by Pepper K. Etters. Born in the Mountains of Colorado, Pepper developed an affinity for the beauty of our natural surroundings at an early age. His fascination with mountains, rivers and all other aspects of the environment is evident in his daily life. When not taking photographs, Pepper works as a guide fly fishing, rock climbing, backpacking, llama trekking, kayaking and rafting.

Pepper started taking photos of these explorations early on in life as a way of documenting the wild places he visited. As he grew older, this hobby slowly matured into a consuming passion. Following several trips abroad, Pepper soon discovered a new subject matter for his images and with it an increased excitement for the genre.

After finishing his studies in Cultural Anthropology and International Eco/Adventure Tourism, and following several years of primarily self-taught photographic education, the time has come to share his passion with the world.

Adventurous Spirit Photography is a company dedicated to the exploration and documentation of the earth and its cultures. While Pepper continues to photograph the natural world with the same enthusiasm and excitement he always has, his ascending proficiency in the photographic arts has coincided with an increasing fever to explore and experience. Drawn to the varied beauty of foreign landscapes, the colorful fabric of unique cultures, and the inspiring faces of the world, Pepper's photography is a visual celebration of the earth and its peoples. He writes,

Through my photography I strive to artistically explore the natural and human world while expressing the true nature of a location and its inhabitants. It is my ultimate goal to do this in a way that is both respectful and honest. I hope that I may bring a greater knowledge and appreciation of our world and its inhabitants back to the viewers and patrons of my images and perhaps contribute to a more inspired and enlightened world population.
